Rules
1. Access to the ÉPIC Centre is through the main door
only, located at 5055 St-Zotique Street East.
2. Members of the Centre are expected to be friendly and
courteous, and avoid using foul language or doing anything that
might be harmful to others.
SAUNA
3. Use of the sauna is prohibited for children and pregnant
women.
4. Persons under the care of a physician and those suffering
from diabetes, hypotension or hypertension must obtain
authorization from their physician.
5. For hygienic reasons, patrons must place a towel on the bench
before sitting.
6. A shower must be taken before entering the sauna.
7. A towel must be worn at all times in the sauna.
8. Shaving is prohibited in the sauna.
9. Water must not be poured on the burner.
WEIGHT ROOM
10. Members must place a towel on the equipment before using
it.
POOL, LOCKER ROOMS, CHANGE ROOMS, SHOWERS
11. A bathing cap must be worn in the pool.
12. It is forbidden to urinate, spit or blow one's nose in the
sink.
13. Children of members and governors can access the pool free
of charge on Saturdays and Sundays, during the times listed in the
schedule. (Please note: children under 17 are not allowed on the
other exercise floors.) Children must be accompanied by a parent of
the same sex in the appropriate change room.
14. Management strongly recommends that sandals be worn to
prevent accidents.
15. Wet clothing must not be left in the lockers or change
room.
16. Lockers must be locked at all times. The ÉPIC
Centre is not responsible for any damage to or theft of personal
items.
17. No objects or garbage must be thrown in the wells that line
the showers.
18. Swimsuit dryers must never be used to dry other items such
as bathing caps, sandals, etc.
19. Change rooms must never be used as a locker.
PARKING
20. Members may park at the ÉPIC Centre only
during the time they are working out.
21. Members must lock their vehicles. The ÉPIC Centre
is not responsible for any theft.
22. During peak periods, ÉPIC Centre members may use
the St-Bonaventure church parking, located at 5205 St-Zotique
Street East.
PHONES
23. A public phone, located in the basement of the Centre, is
available for members' use.
24. Management authorizes members to use the courtesy phone (at
the reception) as an exception only in the event of an emergency
when the public phone is not available.
LIABILITY, ACCIDENTS
25. The ÉPIC Centre has public liability
insurance. However, the Centre is not responsible for any accidents
or theft that a member may fall victim to. The responsibility would
lie with their personal insurance.
26. Should a member be injured or involved in an accident during
their activities at the ÉPIC Centre, they must
immediately inform the person in charge of the activity, who must
report the incident to management. It is very important that the
nature of the injury or accident be made known, both for the
ÉPIC Centre's and the patron's file.
CRIMES
27. Should a member be the victim of a crime either within
the Centre or in the parking lot, they must immediately fill out a
report. Forms are available at the reception.
