Location : The Phlebotomy Centre is located on the first floor of the MHI centre block; the entrance at 6895 Viau Street provides direct access.

Opening hours:

• Phlebotomy Centre (walk-in):
  Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Anticoagulant clinic (by appointment):
  Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.
  and Friday from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Fasting instructions:

A fasting period of 6 or 12 hours might be required, depending on the test(s). Fasting means ingesting no solids and no liquids other than water prior to your visit. A reasonable quantity of water is allowed. Also refrain from smoking.

Medication:

The morning of your test, do not take any medication or supplements (vitamins). Consult your physician about waiting until after the test to take your morning medication.
